Everything is still frozen but it's thawing out. We've been having rolling blackouts here all week but it's back to normal now. A lot of people still don't have power. A lot of people are going to die.
Found a couple frozen dead birds outside today.
Our chickens are fine. One was attacked by a hawk a few days before this all started but it seems to be healing fine.
I'm glad I leave in a decent house now. A few years back I was in a trailer house with a stove heater that would back up all the time. If we were still living there I don't know how we'd make it through this.
